Three new Hello Kitty jets will fly to celebrate EVA Airways’ 20th anniversary


Allow your favorite feline pet to take you to newer heights! Fly with her on any of the three new Hello Kitty-themed aircraft as EVA Air has collaborated with Sanrio to launch a second generation of Hello Kitty Jets. To commemorate its 20th anniversary, EVA has given the new Airbus 330-300s a Hello Kitty makeover. Making her presence felt all over the jets, she is peeking out from every corner, right from the exteriors to the interiors. Turn your eye, and you can spot Hello Kitty on boarding passes, luggage tags, napkins, cups, tableware, bottles, rice crackers. She has even left her traces on meals, desserts, milk, toilet wash, and lotions. The flight attendants, to look cute in Hello Kitty-themed uniforms, aprons, and badges catering to flyers seated in Hello Kitty cabins. Except for the green tails and the EVA logo, the jets will feature Hello Kitty and her charming friends all through the length of the fuselages.

Press release states that the new logo jets are themed Magic Jet, Apple Jet, and Global Jet. The newly unveiled Magic Jet has a Hello Kitty with Magic Stars concept. The concept that inspires the Apple Jet is Hello Kitty Loves Apples since apple is the symbol for Hello Kitty. The third aircraft, the Global Jet, tells the heartwarming story of Hello Kitty Around the World and illustrates EVA’s role in bringing the world closer together.
The Magic Jet is launched on EVA flights between Taipei and Sapporo in Hokkaido, Japan on Oct. 31. The Apple Jet and Global Jet are scheduled to debut later this year on EVA’s routes from Taipei to Fukuoka, Tokyo and Seoul.
