A universe of islands in Dubai
By now you've probably heard about all the cranes and out of this world construction in Dubai. If you thought they couldn't top the palm tree islands, maybe you should check out their new universe shaped island structure. For those of you with cash left over from buying an island branch of the palm structures, and then buying a country from the Dubai world islands, I'm sure you will want to invest in buying mars or Saturn, maybe even a star, you know you want to. However you will probably have to live on your other islands for a decade or two till its built and ready.
Of course if your concern is the greenness of your future splurge, Nakheel, the developers of these juggernaut projects, claims less pollution and cleaner water. Opponents are concerned about erosion to the beaches, coral and marine life, but Nakheel is sticking to the story of the islands preserving coastal ecology and coastlines. Either way, not much is slowing down Dubai's parallel universe development.
