Beijing World's biggest Airport
Beijing has done all it can to win the hearts of fans and patrons of the legendary Olympic games that will commence this year. The very first impression a fan will have on reaching the host city is the massiveness of the airport. It is the largest in the world yet with an area spanning over 500 square miles. The newly created Terminal 3 is eco-friendly and uses natural lighting whenever it can. It stands five floors above the ground and sinks two floors below.
The whole idea of being the very best from all other countries that bid for the 2008 Olympics is something that inspired such a fantastic design. With crowds pouring in from all over the world, this airport surely looks at the crowd with a brave face.
