A Pocket watch from the 'Breitling for Bentley collection' in Honor of W.O. Bentley
In honor of the founder car giants Bentley, Breitling is all set to unveil a Grande Complication pocket-watch from the 'Breitling for Bentley' collection at the Baselworld this year. The beautiful pocket watch has a perpetual calendar which has the capacity to calculate an extra day in February during leap years.
The movement of the watch has its inspirations set in the 19th century, where the watch features around 700parts. The parts are hand polished with the bevel and Côtes de Genève being seen through the transparent back case. The cover flap of the pocket watch is made with 18-carat yellow gold. As a further tribute to Walter Owen Bentley, the cover of the case has an engraving where the master car maker can be seen at the wheel of one of his racing automobile.
