Blancpain_Villeret_collection.jpg Anniversaries are a good time for both a brand and its followers. Not only do the fans get something new, but they also get something exclusive. But what if the year’s Baselworld mark a watch company's 275 anniversary? Keeping the special occasion in mind Blancpain has unveiled a new Villeret Collection. The first timepiece of the series named Phase de Lune Demi-Savonnette is based on the lunar calendar, having under-lug correctors fitted into a half-hunter rose gold case.

The chronograph has the automatic Blancpain in-house caliber 6654 movement (measuring 32mm x 5.32mm) along with 28 jewels. It has a 72-hour power reserve. The watch features a 40mm by 11.7mm 18carat rose gold case and 22mm lugs. The case and back display are both made with sapphire and the watch has a water resistance of up to 30 meters.
