Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin team up for an exclusive line of watches
The partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin was definitely appreciated by many car enthusiasts and luxury lovers. The two are back with three new stylish watches that will definitely bowl over any person who seeks something extraordinary. The first watch in the line is the AMVOX2 DBS Transponder which controls access to a sports car. The watch incorporates a micro-transmitter system serving to lock and unlock the DBS car, while preserving the functions of the vertical trigger mechanical chronograph. Just press the open position button on the watch as you near the car and watch it unlock without a key. Housed in case-back the antenna is metallic on the inside of the sapphire crystal in a shape following the curve of the dial and is connected to the locking control contact rectangles.
The AMVOX2 Chronograph DBS on the other hand combines an amazing mechanical design inspired by the world of the Aston Martin DBS with the technical revolution represented by its chronograph movement. Boasting of a unique mechanism that allows starting, stopping and resetting the functions by simply pressing the sapphire crystal watch glass, this watch is definitely a beauty. Limited to 200 units in 950 platinum and 499 in stainless steel, the AMVOX2 Chronograph DBS is a class apart.
The last in this line is the AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT is crafted in 950 platinum and high-tech black ceramics, a material made of yttrium oxide and zirconium oxide. Made from avant-garde materials and carbon fiber arms, it houses an automatic movement with a tourbillion regulator. The watch has been tested for 1000 hours and is water resistant to 5 ATM.
