Van Cleef & Arpels New York flagship features high-end bejeweled timepieces
New York’s luxury lovers can now indulge in some of the finest timepieces courtesy the current exhibition of high-end jewelry pieces from the Van Cleef & Arpels atelier on Place Vendôme, at the New York flagship boutique. The bejeweled timepieces are sure to delight every high-end watch connoisseur and lover of luxury timepieces. The exquisite creations that are sure to dazzle one and all are most definitely the Lotus, Cosmos and Pavot timepieces. The Montre Lotus watch looks stunning with a contrast of yellow and white pavé diamond petals, accented with mystery set emerald leaves. The white diamonds weigh 33 carats in totality and are set in white gold, while the yellow diamonds set in yellow gold weigh 5.8 carats in totality. The precious emeralds that beautifully complement the diamonds weigh 22 carats in totality are set in yellow gold. A bespoke creation, its price is available on request only.
I have personally fallen in love with the Montre Rose Cosmos watch that looks like a beautiful bracelet of pink and white diamonds. The watch is set in white gold with white and pink diamond petals and a diamond bombé pistil. The white mother-of-pearl dial is hidden below one of the petals and is revealed by giving a push to the petal. The satin tan strap embroidered with diamond leaves and fitted with a diamond deployant clasp completes the look of this bowelled creation. But the best feature of this watch is that the watch face can be removed and worn as a clip/brooch.
The Montre Cosmos is another version of the Montre Rose Cosmos in which the petals are pavé set with diamonds totalling 8.7 carats. The only dissimilarity between the two versions is that the Montre Cosmos doesn’t feature pink diamonds.
The Montre Pavot unlike the rest is a striking timepiece that will turn its wearer into a showstopper. The stunning timepiece pays tribute to the emblematic Pavot (poppy) brooches of the 1950s. Set with Burmese rubies totalling 13.6 carats, it has bespoke diamonds adorning the bezel and the bombé pistil cover. Just like the Montre Cosmos timepieces, a petal hides the dial.
