International Banana Club Museum for sale on eBay

Mad over bananas? Or should I say “bananas” over bananas? Then you certainly won’t mind shelling out $15,000 to be the new owner of the International Banana Club Museum. The founder and curator of this unique museum, real estate agent Ken Bannister, has collected banana-themed items for sale on eBay. This is, however, not his first attempt to sell the collection. Previously, he had put the collection up for sale for $45,000 on eBay but found no buyers. He hopes the new lowered price might help him find a buyer. A unique collection, it is even featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world’s largest collection devoted to any one fruit.

Bannister took the drastic step to sell his collection after the Hesperia Recreation and Park District told him that he would no longer be able to rent space at the Harrison Exhibit Building in Hesperia, California, where Bannister exhibited his thousands of banana goodies. Since he didn’t find any other space to display his collection and was against storing the various items, he went forward with his plan of selling the collection.
Bannister is hopeful that someone will come forward to buy his banana collection and display it once again.
So, if this unique collection has appealed to the “chimp” in you, go and place your bid right away.
