Rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa fetches $12.2 million at RM Auction’s annual event


Ferrari is always in the news for breaking or making new records. The extremely rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa has now become the world’s most expensive car to be sold at an auction. The beautiful car was auctioned recently by RM Auctions’ at their annual Leggenda e Passione event in Italy and fetched a whopping $12.2 million! This extremely rare car is one of only 22 made and hence instantly recognizable. A collector’s item, this Scaglietti-designed “pontoon-fender” 250 TR attracted bidders from all over the world who fought hard to take this beauty home.
