Wayne Rooney’s diamond-encrusted superbike sold

Renowned world-class English soccer star Wayne Rooney recently teamed up with Denmark-based bike manufacturer Lauge Jensen to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle put on auction with proceeds to be donated to KidsAid, a Danish charity organization. The bike, encrusted with diamonds and capable of reaching speeds of 60 mph (100 kmph) in 4 seconds sporting a top speed of 115 mph, has received a $170,900 bid on eBay from a mystery buyer and has been sold.

Also, the generous soccer star has added his player jersey. It has autographed the bike, including the number “10” impression and the rear mudguard paying tribute to his memorable goal against Manchester City. A one-of-a-kind motorcycle indeed, we applaud the initiative put forth by Wayne Rooney, Lauge Jensen, and KidsAid.
