This luxurious $475,000 German motorhome has a garage that will let you travel to the most exotic locations with a hatchback stowed onboard

If you’re looking to buy a luxurious yet lightweight RV that can also carry your Porsche, this beautiful motorhome might just be the one for you. What you’re looking at is the range-topping model Carver 920 G in the product portfolio of German brand Concorde. The luxury motorhome with an onboard garage has a width of 240 cm, which is only slightly wider than normal campers, while it measures 945 cm in length, helping it fall within the category of maxi-motorhomes. But despite being almost 10 meters long, the vehicle is extremely maneuverable, making it perfect for tight and twisty roads in Europe. However, the Carver 920 G is definitely not for everyone as it requires a category “C” driving license to operate.

Motorhome enthusiast and YouTuber Alan Heath gave a virtual tour of a Carver 920 G at the company’s production facilities through one of his videos, offering us a closer look at the flagship motorhome. The luxury motorhome is underpinned by an Iveco truck powered by a 3.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine capable of churning out 180hp and a torque of 430 Nm. However, customers can choose a more powerful version of the engine that produces 210hp and 470 Nm of torque. On the outside, the motorhome features a typical clean German design which is free of clutter. The blacked-out glass area contrasting the white bodywork might remind you of the Stormtrooper helmet from the Star Wars franchise.

One of the most notable things about the Carver 920 G is its load-carrying capacity. The motorhome is capable of carrying a payload of 1900kg (more than 4188 lbs.), which is quite exceptional for an RV of its size. It can be credited to the ultra-lightweight construction of the RV and the excellent weight optimization measures taken by the German company. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that the motorhome skimps on amenities and features to keep a check on excess weight. The Carver 920 G features everything you’ll expect from a motorhome of its size and price.

Inside the cabin, the Iveco dashboard and onboard instrumentation make it easy to drive the vehicle, aided by the 360-degree camera. The light and plush upholstery add to the comfort, while the driver’s chair can rotate and turn towards the living quarters. The living room consists of an L-shaped sofa and a long seat, while the ergonomically designed kitchen and bathroom add to the elegance of the interior.

The bedroom is located right at the back, which includes a queen size bed. However, the only downside of the bedroom is the low ceiling height. This brings us to the highlight of the Carver 920 G, the garage. The motorhome features an onboard garage at the rear which has a phenomenal load capacity. While it may not be big enough to fit a modern Porsche 911, you can travel with your Smart car and enjoy driving it at some of the most exotic locations. If you’re interested, the Carver 920 G starts at $450,000, which is phenomenal value for money for what it offers.
