46-metre Soroya luxury yacht to debut at 2010 Monaco Yacht show


The 2010 Monaco yacht show maybe yet far away. But one yacht preparing to make its debut at the event is the 46-meter Soroya, which is currently under construction at Gentech Yachts’ Antalya, Turkey shipyard. Italy’s Meccano Engineering is responsible for the yacht’s naval architecture, while Jure Bukavec of UNIELLé yacht design did the interiors. The luxury craft will feature a pop-up helipad and a swimming pad that unfolds to double in size. The Soroya achieves a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots with a range of 5,040 nautical miles at cruising speed.

A silent yet sturdy vessel boasts of a strong steel hull and zero-speed stabilizers paired with soundproofing to keep everything exceedingly tranquil onboard. There is also a special night mode that relies on a battery-powered system to ensure silence at night. The boat has six staterooms and is large enough to accommodate up to 12 guests and 9 crew members. Sure to be a showstopper, this boat is equipped with underwater LED lighting making her a spectacular sight to behold at night.
