Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge concept blends luxury with technology on wheels

We’ve covered many mobile work stations and high-tech home theaters but the Brabus Mercedes-Benz Viano Lounge zooms off with the best of the two worlds under its roof. Though still a concept, I am sure most of the geeks would be itching to hold the key to this luxurious multi-utility vehicle. The designers at Brabus have upped the luxury quotient and given a new identity to the Mercedes van. Watch out for the 32-inch electrically deployed LCD screen behind the front seats that monitor the computer system with Sony Vaio notebook. How about playing Blu-ray movies or racing up with simulator Gran Turismo 5 via the integrated Sony Playstation 3 game console? Pushing the need for luxury, it also boasts of a customized Vertu Constellation that features quad-band technology for use in 180 countries all over the world. Made of stainless steel and scratch-proof sapphire glass, it is clad in the same supple leather covering the Viano Lounge interior. Even the acoustic senses are pampered with a sound system custom-designed for the Viano. And how can the Lounge concept be complete without a ‘Nespresso’ coffee maker and a roomy refrigerator?

The interiors are also tastefully designed to offer maximum comfort without comprising on style. The rear seats can be reclined to a full sleeping position at the push of a button. Though all the seats are upholstered with especially soft and breathable leather, the two custom seats are separated by a center console that sports a combination of fine leather and bamboo. It is also reported that this console houses the controls for the rear climate control system and the controller for the COMAND MMI system from the Mercedes S-Class that operates the entire multimedia system. A 426hp 6.1L V8 engine will provide the thrust to the luxurious vehicle that promises to keep you away from home and office too.
