Sensational new all-aluminium XKR is light and agile, accelerates faster, stops quicker than the previous steel-bodied generation and has exceptional dynamic abilities. It’s the use of aerospace technologies that have resulted in the most technically advanced Jaguar production car ever created. Jaguar XKR will make its global debut here in the UK at the British International Motor Show. The XKR will be unveiled at a press conference on the Jaguar stand on Tuesday 18 July.
“We are thrilled that the XKR will make its global debut at Jaguar´s home show,” commented Jaguar´s UK Managing Director Geoff Cousins. The new XKR sports car will be produced at the company´s state of the art Castle Bromwich manufacturing centre in Birmingham. The car is believed to have a 400+ horsepower supercharged V8 engine. It will be offered in a coupe and convertible variants.
