Suleiman Kerimov crashes Ferrari Enzo splitting it into two

Although the man-kind population is on the boom, the Ferrari Enzo population is on a decline. The global figure of Enzos has dropped from 400 to 398! Who is Suleiman Kerimov? A proud owner of a Ferrari Enzo…..and also a Russian billionaire and parliamentarian! But his fate is uncertain as he is hospitalized in critical condition at Marseille’s major burns center after his black Ferrari crashed and burst into flames. Kerimov, worth $7.1 billion (ranked No. 72 in Forbes magazine’s annual survey of the world’s richest people published in March) crashed his Ferrari Enzo around 3:30 noon on 25th in Nice on the French Riviera. The specific cause of Kerimov’s crash is not yet known. The car split in half after striking a tree, and subsequently burst into flames.

The accident is the latest in a string of high-profile Enzo crashes over the past 12 months that have destroyed four of the $1 million cars. Early this year, Stefan Eriksson, also met with a similar car accident and sliced his Ferrari Enzo into halves on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA.
