The $300 million Serene, ninth largest yacht, is all set to sail

Serene, the ninth-largest yacht in the world is now ready to set sail. Italian shipyard Fincantieri has completed the $300 million vessels, claimed to be the only Italian-built yacht among the world’s top 25. Boasting a clientele from the crème-la-crème lot, there is no doubt a very wealthy person has ordered this beauty. Some of its features include two helicopter landing platforms, storage for a large submarine able to reach a depth of more than 100 meters, and an indoor seawater pool. It will have seven decks and nearly 50,000 square feet of interior space. The interior design was done by Pascale Reymond of Reymond Langton Design and naval architecture by famed Espen Oeino. In other news, the shipyard has started work on an Oeino-designed yacht, which is aimed at being the world’s fifth-largest yacht.
