The Rolls Royce wine delivery van

Your wine is bound to be good if you have it delivered to your doorstep by a Rolls Royce delivery van. And that’s exactly how Krug Champagne from the Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton wine division would deliver their imperial beverages back in 1984. This Rolls Royce “bread van” was ultimately sold by the company as a museum piece in the House of Krug in Reims, France’s Champagne-Ardenne region.

Originally a Rolls Royce 1979 Silver Shadow II Sedan, this car was converted into a three-door commercial vehicle to serve its purpose. Two seats in the front, for the driver and a passenger in place with a huge space behind equipped with two refrigerators, makes this vehicle a splendid way to transport expensive wines. The body of the car sports the Krug crest and logo. And as a reminder of the car’s purpose, the key uses a cork keyring too!
