World’s most expensive car crash involves eight Ferraris among other supercars


When you come across a wreck involving a bunch of high-performance luxury sports cars, your heart tends to writhe in pain. This recent accident on the Chugoku Expressway in Shimonoseki near southwestern Japan turned eight Ferraris into nothing more than scrap metal. The accident also involved a Nissan GT-R Skyline, three Mercedes Benz cars, and a Lamborghini Diablo and is termed as the Most Expensive Car Crash in the World! With a total damage bill topping several million pounds, the Ferraris involved in the pile-up include an F512, F355, F430, and an F360. Thankfully, the accident didn’t take any lives, leaving the drivers with bruises and minor injuries.
Update – Japan’s most expensive road accident involved supercars worth $4-million. It seems once the carnage came into account, the original figure has now been pegged to an astonishing $4 million.
